CURSILLO
A three day journey designed to renew your spiritual relationship with Christ and to provide the tools to share that love with others. Cursillo participants continue to meet as a group to strengthen their faith and grow in their love for Christ. The group is encouraged and led to evangelize and spread Christ's love.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
For an increase in the spiritual life of the parish and for a heightened awareness of Jesus' presence. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament begins every Thursday at 7:30 am and continues uninterrupted until Friday at 7:00 pm with Benediction. Adorers are always needed for a one hour commitment each week. If one is not able to commit for an hour, please come and sit with Jesus for whatever time your schedule will allow. It is a very spiritual experience.
LADIES SODALITY
To promote the spiritual growth of its members, and to care for the altar and sanctuary of the church and to furnish and maintain linens, candles, altar wine, and altar flowers. We also act as hostess for Parish events that include the Archbishop, such as confirmation. We are also members of the ACCW and host their functions. Members contribute to the well being and needs of the parish community by sponsoring the annual Festa Italiana and by assisting other organizations with activities which benefit the parish community. All women of the parish are considered members and are encouraged to attend meetings and become active. Meetings are held in Assumption Hall at 12:30 pm on the 1st Tuesday of the month September-May.
MEN OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS
An organization involved in assisting families and communities and businesses with the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart in their homes or businesses-the crowning of Christ as King in their lives. Open to new members.
MOM'S IN TOUCH
Mom's in touch is a group of two or more moms who meet for one hour a week to release God's power on their children and school through prayer. Mothers, grandmothers or any women who are willing to pray either in the silence of their hearts or aloud are welcome. "Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them."

SECULAR FRANSISCAN ORDER
Currently we are not meeting at Christ the King. There is a group meeting at St. Lawrence on the 1st Sunday of the month at 2 pm. We are a group trying to live the gospel life using St. Francis as an example. Please join us anytime.

VOCATIONS MINISTRY
The CTK Vocations Ministry is a mission to foster and affirm vocations to the ministerial priesthood and vowed religious life in the USA and through the ministry, further our member's common Catholic faith. The club meets twice monthly with a breakfast meeting following the 1st Saturday Mass and Rosary at CTK in Assumption Hall and a meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at Assumption. Meeting speakers include priests, nuns, and Archdiocesan administrators. Various programs are presented to youth to provide them with the information to help them to choose their God given call to a vocation, be it marriage, religious life, or lay single life. New members are welcome.

ULTREYA
The Baldwin Ultreya holds meetings for anyone who has completed a Cursillo. Meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month from 6:30pm-8pm in Assumption Hall.

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY
A twice monthly meeting, 2nd & 4th Thursday 9:30-11:00am, for women to study scripture and provide prayer support and encouragement. New members are welcome! Currently we meet in the Immaculata Center from September-May.

A catechetical, liturgical process whereby non-Catholic adults are evangelized toward the faith through prayer, interaction and study. Catholics may attend to revitalize and update their own faith. Group meetings are held form September until Easter, Thursdays 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Although the entire parish community is involved through their witness and support, many volunteers are needed to assist with the specific activities ad programs. Sponsors support the catechumens on a one-to-one basis. Others help with hospitality, publicity, prayers, letter writing, photography, video taping, or as facilitators, witnesses, team leaders ad artists. Be an apostolic Catholic and recommend this program to someone whom it will benefit..

CATHOLIC ENGAGED ENCOUNTER
Engaged encounter is a weekend experience that offers an engaged couple a unique opportunity to discover a deeper appreciation of their relationship and God's call to unite them in a permanent union. It provides the occasion for them to examine and deepen their commitment to one another and gives them a clear view of what a good Christian marriage involves. A team of married couples and a priest facilitates and guides the weekend. The design of the pre-marriage encounter encourages the couple to explore material strengths and weaknesses, goals, aspirations and attitudes concerning family life, children, finances, the church and society. During the year there are 12 Catholic Engaged Encounters held at the Visitation Retreat Home in Mobile and two in the Montgomery area.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
The largest lay organization in the Catholic Church. The Order has been called "the strong right arm of the Church." and has been praised by popes, presidents and other world leaders, for support of the Church, programs of evangelization and Catholic education, civic involvement and aid to those in need. Council 2737 here in Daphne is over 200 members strong, has received the State of Alabama Star Council Award, 3 of the last 5 years and received Council of the Year Award in 2001.
MARRIAGE ENCOUNTER
Marriage Encounter is 44 hours where married couples can get away from jobs, kids, chores, and phones- and focus only on each other. A weekend of discovery...a lifetime of love.

A weekly Tuesday night sports group for the adult men of the parish.

MEN'S BREAKFAST CLUB
A service group of men of the church formed to provide community fellowship by hosting a coffee social in the Parish Hall/Gym after the 7 and 8:30 am Masses with a breakfast once a month on the second Sunday of the month.
To provide direction, guidance and counseling to plan a family naturally. Help people understand "Humane Vite". Meetings are by appointment.

SOFTBALL-MEN'S
Church league softball group open to all men in the parish 16 years and older. The men's league usually play on Monday evenings.

PARISH SOCIAL EVENTS
A standing committee of the Parish Council, this committee promotes fellowship within the parish community by organizing social activities such as dances, picnics, dinners, etc. Volunteers are always needed to plan an/or organize events; prepare and/or serve food, snacks or refreshments; set up tables and chairs in the gym/hall and at the end of the event to clean up kitchen and hall, returning all tables and/or chairs to their storage location.
RETROUVAILLE
A weekend program for troubled marriages. This weekend helps to heal and renew marriage relationships.

"TO BE" - HELP FOR PREGNANT WOMEN
"To Be" is a Pregnancy Crisis Center located in Fairhope across the street from St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 399 S. Section Street. They offer free pregnancy test, counseling and post Abortion Counseling.

F.A.I.T.H.-FIGHTING ADDICTION IN THE HOME

REVERENCE FOR LIFE
To increase awareness that life is a gift from God and sacred and that each of us has an obligation to protect and nurture human life at every stage of its development . Members organize parish participation in many local Pro Life activities:
- Life Chains, an annual participation with the Christian Community
- A New Life, an educational series
- Partial Birth Veto Campaign
- Bargain Day for Kids Fund Raiser
- Mother's Day Rose Sale Fund Raiser
Supporters are advised when important legislation is up for a vote and encouraged to contact their representatives to voice their opinions in support of Life.

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a volunteer association of lay people and spiritual advisors who provide financial, physical, emotional, and legal assistance to the poor, needy, and homeless. Assistance to the needy in the form of shelter, food and money using available resources. A team approach is used for handling cases. Meetings are usually the first Monday of each month at 7 pm except on holidays. Active caseworkers who attend monthly meetings. Caseworkers must be aware of the importance of confidentiality and spirituality. By being a part of helping God's poor adds to the list of what we do for the will of God. Funds made available through donations and an annual special parish collection.

STEPHEN MINISTRY
Stephen Ministers are a group of men and women who have taken a 50 hour training course to provide Christian care for others. They are available as a source of strength to someone going through a crisis or difficult time in their life. We welcome anyone who is willing to attend the training classes.

GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP
A support group for anyone who has experienced the death of a loved one. This group meets the third Saturday of the month at 2:00 pm in the Immaculata Center.
SOCIAL JUSTICE-JUSTFAITH
JustFaith is a challenging course of study consisting of weekly meetings, books, videos, speakers, retreats, and hands-on experiences on how to put faith into action on behalf of the poor and vulnerable. This is a 30 week process that meets once a week from 6:30 - 9:00 in the Immaculata Center.

COMPASSION LUNCHEON
At the request of the family, a meal is prepared for the family and friends of the bereaved. The food is prepared and contributed by our parishioners and sent to the home or served at the Assumption Hall following the funeral. Everyone is welcome to be a part of this ministry.
